Knowledge Document: CM Client crashes when connecting to a DATASET

TRIM.exe crashes with Faulting Module ucrtbase.dll when attempting to load one of the customer’s 5 datasets. The other 4 work just fine. The customer did an upgrade from 9.4.6 to 10.1 Patch 3. They had the problem just with one Dataset. It is not happening to everyone, but it is affecting 90% of users. Including all of the Administrative accounts. The file UCRTBASE.DLL is on both System32 and SysWOW64.

Situation

TRIM.exe crashes with Faulting Module ucrtbase.dll when attempting to load one of the customer’s 5 datasets. The other 4 work just fine.

After an upgrade from 9.4.6 to 10.1 Patch 3 the problem started

It is not happening to everyone, but it is affecting 90% of users. Including all of the Administrative accounts.

The file UCRTBASE.DLL is on both System32 and SysWOW64.
