Hello GroupWise fans! I am thrilled to announce the arrival of GroupWise 18.5.0, the latest version of our trusted collaboration solution. We have some great new features for you to try, so without further ado, let’s take a look at what makes this release the one to get.

For the Windows Client, we have added an exciting new feature called Travel Time. Now, you can schedule travel or prep time around a meeting to ensure you have adequate time to prepare for and travel to and from an appointment. This feature helps you optimize your schedule and make the most of your valuable time. Read white paper.

In an era where remote work and virtual meetings are becoming increasingly common, seamless integration with popular video conferencing platforms is a must. That's why we are proud to introduce Zoom integration in GroupWise 18.5.0. With this integration, you can create a new appointment link directly within the client, minimizing the need to switch between applications. Now, scheduling and joining virtual meetings is easier and more efficient than ever before.

We understand the importance of finding available resources quickly, especially when it comes to scheduling conference rooms or other resources for your meetings. That's why we have introduced Intelligent Scheduling for resource groups. This feature automatically finds available rooms or resources in the group within the appointment time, providing you with a faster way to locate and reserve the resources you need. Read also case study. 

On the Administration side, we have added Proxy, Rule, and Folder management functions for those with Enterprise Messaging. These additions simplify user management and provide administrators with greater control and flexibility, making it easier than ever to manage GroupWise within your organization.

But that's not all! We have also made significant enhancements to GroupWise Web to improve your web experience. Managing your address books is now easier with the ability to create, delete, and edit address books directly in GroupWise Web. Additionally, you can now Edit and Duplicate calendar items, allowing you to make changes or replicate important events effortlessly. We have also improved Name Completion by adding more information to the search results, making it easier to find the correct person when multiple people have the same name. Furthermore, Forward As Attachment is now available, giving you more flexibility when sharing messages. Lastly, we have introduced a new Toolbar to the message Read window, providing users with all the functions that are available in the preview window.
