We are seeing quite strange issue where I would like to ask for your advise.

DP 10.91 Linux based, MSSQL 2016

MSSQL backup sessions from time to time switch from trans/diff backup mode to full backup. Warning reports "Cannot backup incrementally, switching to full"

We have checked session owners, protection etc, everything matches. And the strange thing is that the issue occurs on different databases and the set of problematic db's differ for different runs. In the same specification some databases may get backed up correctly (as trans level) but others will get switched to full. Next run other databases will switch to full. So the behavior is not regular and appears for different DB's each time in the same spec.

We changed device from SO to physical tape and it started working much better for diff backups but still fails on trans sessions.

What may be the reason here? Any kind of timeout may be? Any known issues like that?
