OB2_DISABLE_IDB_ENCRYPTION_WARNING

During on IDB backup, important configuration and security information is processed and saved. It is highly recommended to secure such backup by enabling AES encryption in the media from unauthorised access. Doing so will disable the warning.

Alternately, use the omnirc variable OB2_DISABLE_IDB_ENCRYPTION_WARNING on the cell manager to disable this message.

How to disable? pls guide..

Just set this environment parameter equal to 1. On windows this can be set in ProgramData\OmniBack\omnirc . On Linux it will be in /opt/omni/.omnirc . Restart services ( omnisv stop, omnisv start ) after…

Hello It must be set into cell manager not into client. If file omnirc is not present into cell manager create new one blank and add the variable with value equal to 1. Best Regards

As you said "In OmniBack", I'm assuming it is a Windows cell server. If "ProgramData\OmniBack\omnirc" is not there then make a copy of "ProgramData\OmniBack\omnirc.tmpl". Make sure the copied file is "omnirc" without any extension to its name. Set the paramter in that file.
