Can somebody explain to me the Data Protector object verification functionality. docs.microfocus.com/.../ObjectVerification

Can i use this to verify/validate/test a done backup to be sure the backup works in case of a restore? (compare Veeam SureBackup)

The object verification validates the object has been written correctly. It is not matching anything to the source data, only checking the object on the destination media. I hope this is the information…

Thank you for the quick answer. This feature doesnt seem to be a solution for a recovery test.
