[61:4001] Error accessing the database, in line

Hello Experts,

I have upgraded DP 9.09 cell manager from a windows 2008 server to a Windows 2019 standard server and then upgraded DP to 10.60. Once the upgrade completed, all the backups were running fine.

suddenly from last 2 days all my backups started failing with the following error:

[Critical] From: BSM@   Cell manager server "DPIDB" Time: 11/6/2020 4:40:18 AM
[61:4001] Error accessing the database, in line 1717, file w:\src\sm\bsm2\brsmutil.c.
Database subsystem reports:
"Internal error: DbaXXXX functions."

[Major] From: BSM@Cell manager server "DPIDB" Time: 11/6/2020 4:40:18 AM
[61:3003] Lost connection to OB2BAR Backup DA named "ERROR"
on host Cell manager server.
Ipc subsystem reports: "IPC Read Error
System error: [10053] Software caused connection abort

[Major] From: OB2BAR_POSTGRES_BAR@Cell manager server "DPIDB" Time: 11/6/2020 4:40:18 AM
Received ABORT request from BSM (ERR: Error starting backup/restore (BMA cannot be started or similar).)

At present all my backups are down...

I have checked the disk space in the server and we have 400GB of free space,

no additional reporting server or backup navigator configured.

No additional patches installed

any quick suggestions will help.

  • hi,

    -stop services

-rename /tmp folder and created a newone on /omniback folder.

    -start services

    also check omnidbcheck -extended

  • Hi,

I found one note but for 9,08, maybe help:

Add the following line into the "pg_ident.conf"
    Located into
    hpdpidb system hpdp

    You can try this first:

    run this command:

    Omniinetpaswd -list

Check that the users who display that command appear in the file:

    C:ProgramData\OmniBack\Config\Server\idb\ idb.config

In this case it is PGOUSER=domain@Admnistratror

You can try delete and add this user again:

    #omniinetpasswd -delete Administrator@Domain

    #omniinetpasswd -add Administraror@Domain
