Frankly I'm not 100% sure anymore what exactly the situation was in DP 7.1. This version is out of support for so many years now and I obviously do not have a running test system anymore. What I can tell is that the procedure mentioned for DP 6 should still be applicable. The key point is to add this account as an admin user in DP. The permissions mentioned are also looking fine and will be granted automatically when the user is an admin account (talking OS-wise now). Impersonation is needed when Inet is running under a specific user account or sets a user account to be used by the Installation Server during remote installation. So that would indeed be the additional step if you would also change the inet user account.

On the other hand, yes DP 7.00 is an old version (2016), but there is running every day without a pause, running on WS2k12 R2 (allegedly not supported, better said not proved, but able to run without any problems). In my experience major problems come from security issues (obviously can't backup some new softwares or products).

What I want to mean is DP 7.00 even being a very old software is steady as a rock, not all softwares can provide as many years of good service as DP do. We're backing up some old data bases with it every day and there is the bad boy giving all we need till it will be retired some months forward.
