powershell cell manager - get jobs info

hi

my question is about Cell manager. we have several jobs set up inside cell manager. is there any way to write a powershell script to list all jobs and their status? for example to see  which job has been disabled?

  • From the GUI, you can go to the Backup view and if you select the heading for the backup type (Filesystem, Internal Database, etc.), it will show you when a spec is scheduled and show 'n/a' if its schedule is disabled.

The Command Line Interface Reference pdf has the omnirpt command info in it.  There's an option '-tab' which will put the output in "tabulator separated format, which is useful for additional parsing or can be used with other tools for analysis"

That might be a place to start with getting output from Data Protector that can then be parsed by powershell.

If you happen to get anything working, please post it up.
