(DP) Support Tip: Upgrade on Windows to DP 10.80 failing if %DP_DATA_DIR% path contains a space.

If %DP_DATA_DIR% (Default: "C:\ProgramData\OmniBack\") is containing a space character, e.g. the configuration files are in "C:\Program Files\OmniBack\", then the upgrade from an earlier version will fail.


Most of the upgrade is working fine, but the connection to the AppServer will fail afterwards. As a result, the user and schedule migration will have failed and all REST calls will fail, including the GUI connection and "omniusers -list". In the AppServer log file (%DP_DATA_DIR%\log\AppServer\server.log), the following will be seen:

Checking The AppServer configuration file (%DP_DATA_DIR%\Config\Server\AppServer\standalone.xml), the following line can be seen:

<https-listener name="https" socket-binding="https" secure="true" security-realm="UndertowRealm"/>


The solution is to change the line in standalone.xml to:

<https-listener name="https" socket-binding="https" secure="true" ssl-context="LocalhostSSLContext"/>

After that the AppServer needs to be restarted. This will fix the problem. At that stage, the user migration and schedule migration can be run if needed. Also all CLI commands and GUI should work.
