Cause
vmwaregre-agent.exe crash happens because Microsoft shadow copy partition is not handled correctly .
Microsoft shadow copy partition will be created in the VM's disk when a VM is backed up with "Use quiescence snapshots" option enabled.

Workaround / Fix
A Hotfix is available through Software Support.(OCTIM19Q768322)
