Support Tip: Replication not filtering objects

0 Likes

Object replication from a StoreOnce to a StoreOnce device fails not filtering any object.
When trying to copy some data , from a StoreOnce to a StoreOnce device filtering by:

backup specification name
source library
timeframe

But DP replication does not select the object to copy.

Example from the session report :

[Critical] From: CSM@Hostname  "Device name" Time: 12/04/2022 18:28:52
No objects to copy. The session will abort.

Environment:

Source CM 10.50 , SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP3
Target CM 10.50 , SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP3

Analysis:
Only the first %d objects are displayed. Some will not be visible!

MESSAGE TEXT:
=============
Displaying large quantities of objects may result in poor performance and \
high memory usage. Server limits such large quantities by displaying \
only a subset of objects.

ACTIONS:
========
In general, limited number of displayed objects shouldn't represent a \
problem in functionality. If you run into such situation, change the \
MaxDisplayedObjects value in the global option file on the cell manager, \
and server will be able to display more objects.

Cause:
device_ OB2DBG_2672__CSM_hostname _2674-1066661696_device.txt | wc -l
64000
Result is 64K objects from the StoreOnce.
