Issue

The Linux client push installation fails with the following error message:

[Critical] <hostname> Certificate copy failed:
cp: cannot create regular file'/etc//opt/omni/client/sscertificates/': Not a directory

Environment

All DP versions on Linux clients

Analysis

By running the secure communication command on the client, the following error message appears:

error while loading shared libraries: libnsl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Cause

The package libnsl is not installed on the client system and this has to be there before DP installation.
Resolution

1. Install libnsl package

yum install libnsl

After successful installation, you can see the package /usr/lib64/libnsl.so.1.

2. Reinstall the client.
