Oracle: any version
 

Situation

Backups suddenly start to fail with  
RMAN-03002: failure of backup command at 05/02/2024 12:02:10
RMAN-06059: expected archived log not found, loss of archived log compromises recoverability
ORA-19625: error identifying file /u01/app/oracle/admin/mf/arch/arc168647_990056765.arc
ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status
IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 2: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.
