When trying to import a tape, the GUI hangs and crashes then is unresponsive when launched again

Environment

Data Protector version: 11.02
Cell Manager OS version: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Standard


Situation

  • When trying to import a tape, the GUI hangs and crashes
  • When closed and relaunched, it is now unresponsive even if the launch is performed with the cmd command #manager
  • The Event viewer reports an APP CRASH error pointing to the DP location but with no details of the crash's nature
  • All services are up and running
  • The IDB is running fine
