Support Tip: After resuming a failed scheduled backup, the job is not following the scheduler protection

After resuming a failed scheduled backup, resumed objects are not following the scheduler protection, but taking protection from the backup specification.
For instance: 
Schedule a backup with 15 days protection:

 

Then set the protection in backup specification to 3 days:

After resumed session, the resumed objects are protected for 3 days, which follows the protection in backup specification instead of 15 days as the scheduler protection.

Resolution

1. Add below variable to the global file of Cell Manager (in path \ProgramData\OmniBack\Config\Server\Options\global)

ResumeMatchProtection=1


2. Restart DP services.
