The Data Protector Deduplication Store cannot be started after the Data Protector Deduplication Server was restarted without stopping the Data Protector Deduplication Service.

Environment

Data Protector 23.4
RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.9
 

Situation

The Data Protector Deduplication Store cannot be started after the Data Protector Deduplication Server was restarted without stopping the Data Protector Deduplication Service.
  
[root@DPD-Server]# /opt/omni/lbin/DPDUtils -restart -s dpd01
The store will be shutdown, please make sure no active backup/copy/replication operations is going on.
Do you want to continue? (y|n)y
Unable to start deduplication store, please set OB2_CLOUD_DEVICE_PROXY omnirc variable.
ERROR: Couldn't restart deduplication store process.
