Knowledge Document: MaxDB backup issue with error "The database was unable to fulfill a request"

Getting the error message when running MaxDB backup job: Error: MaxDB responded with: -24920,ERR_BACKUPOP: backup operation was unsuccessful The database was unable to fulfill a request (-104, DBM command impossible at this time).

Environment

Data Protector version 10.80
Operating System in Cell Manager is Windows 2016
Operating System in client is HP-UX

Situation

The backup job runs well from SAP system. When running the backup job through DP, getting the error message: 
[Critical] From: OB2BAR_SAPDBBAR@sapdbclient "SDB" Time: 07/25/24 16:42:50
    Error: MaxDB responded with: -24920,ERR_BACKUPOP: backup operation was unsuccessful
The database was unable to fulfill a request (-104, DBM command impossible at this time).

Resolution

Get more space for the archive logs location
