Whether Connected Backup is Connect MX ?

Hi All

     I am testing Connected MX product...but I could not find this product's community link...

this community seem similar, Could I ask is it the Connected MX (CMX) ?

  • product wise - both are same.
    Difference is Connected is bought by customer and is hosted on-premise, while Connected MX is a service offering from MicroFocus - maintained and managed by them, all you do is take their subscription.

    and the connected backup seem does not provide trial or partner license, correct ??

    I check the connected backup does not in free trial product list, and check not exist IM&G (stackB ?) on get software of partner portal.

  • not sure about partner license but you/customer can evaluate. There is a trial available. Just register and test it for few days. No charges for evaluation

    connected backup and connected MX are two different product.

    If you do not find a community for connected MX you can publish here.

    In parallel let me see if I find the connected MX community.

        Thanks...I indeed need get more information and a location could let me ask question...

    Community is a prefer choice...because I click other microfocus products link on comunity list...it always correct re-direct this product's community...

    just only connected MX seem has some re-direct link problem..so I could not see the CMX community.

     

     could let me ask Connected Backup/Connect MX whether they only different point the server location (on-premise / SaaS ) ?

    I am microfocus partner

    connected backup or connect MX , I could not request license or download from portner portal.

    Now I had connected MX trial account...Where I get trial request information ?

    I get it from connect MX partner training course powerpoint on Partner portal

    On September 11 2021 Micro Focus deployed a new release transitioning the branding of the existing Connected MX service to Connected 10.0
    After that date - they are technically the same product.
