So same situation: a user will leave the company - but we need his documents and folders. This user should be deleted later on. But how do we get orphaned documents? I remember Groupwise document management: there was option to reassign orphaned documents to a new owner?
Is there an official way?

For GW DMS the option to re-assign orphaned documents is inside GWcheck, analyze/Fix Library -> Reassign orphaned documents
