Cannot create Net Folder

Trying to create a new Net Folder. The Net Server created just fine. I can test the connection to the Net Server just fine. But when I push the OK button after putting my Net Folder information, I get the following error:

"Unable to create the Net Folder: unable to load the default parent workspace for net folders."

This is what it looks like.

Error

Any idea what would cause this. Or what logs would be the best to look at for why this is happening?

Thanks

Shane

What kind of net server is in the background - OES, Windows? Did you take care of proxy user rights?

I don't know what would cause this error.  I like Diethmar's questions.  Some other information which might be helpful:

    • Can you create Net Folders pointing to other Net Folder Servers?
    • Are you creating the Net Folder to the root of the Net Folder Server?  What happens if you change that up as a test? Meaning, define the path to something different.
    • As a test, temporarily, change the Net Folder Server Proxy user to Admin.  Does that make a difference?
    • It might be helpful if I could see your Filr server's configuration.  Run these commands to download the FilrInfo-3.2.sh script and run it.  Then share the .txt file which gets created in the /tmp directory.
