MacOS changing Filr folder colour no longer works on new Macbook

Filr 4.3.1.3

My client uses the Filr app on MacOS. He was able to change folder colours using the Mac's folder colour changing function.

Recently he replaced his old MacBook with a new Apple SIlicon MacBook.

I reinstalled and configured Filr on the new Macbook the same way I would on his older Macs.

But now when he tries to colour code folders within the Filr folder he gets this error:

I don't know if this is because of Apple Silicon, or a new MacOS version or something else.

Anyone know?
