Knowledge Document: Failed to log into the PostgreSQL database after upgrading from Filr 4.x to 5

Filr 5
 

Situation

After upgrading from Filr 4.x to 5 there was an issue logging into the PostgreSQL database. Attempting to log in failed. There was no error, but there was no access to the Filr database.
 

Cause

This is a known issue.
 

Resolution

Apply the online updates: 

  •   Login on to the appliance at port 9443 and choose online update section and apply updates.
  •   Restart the Filr server.
