Situation

A change of any database connection setting is not honored by Appliance Administration Console.
The setting remains intact.
 

Cause

Defect has been identified.

Resolution

It is possible to install FTF for Filr 23.3. Any previous Filr version needs to be updated to Filr 23.3.

Steps to apply the FTF:
1. Take a backup of the original web archive (war) file:

# mv /opt/novell/common-services/webapps/root.war /tmp/root_772009_`date +%s`.war

2. Download the FTF and place at the designated location:

# wget -O root.war "https://microfocus--c.documentforce.com/sfc/dist/version/download/?oid=00D1t000000vhDP&ids=0688e00000AU94FAAT&d=%2Fa%2F8e000000XvRd%2FN8FO9ZJ_mwJeo8e8ygEgcSyfUWAox57Rg6kis9iQbgg&operationContext=DELIVERY"" 
# mv root.war /opt/novell/common-services/webapps

3. Restart appliance services:

# rcvabase-datamodel restart ; rcvabase-jetty restart
