Knowledge Document: macOS Finder mounts to Filr server in Read-Only mode

Environment

OpenText Filr 5/23
 

Situation

macOS Finder is connecting via WebDAV to Filr server.
The folders only get opened in Read-Only mode.
 

Cause

macOS Finder requires WebDAV class 2 server. If it isn't class 2, it will mount as Read-Only.
Current WebDAV implementation at Filr server is class 1.
 

Resolution

Work around: use Filr desktop client for macOS and/or Filr web client
