Edit with Application provides editing of supported file types with native applications (MS-Office, LibreOffice), so that changes made to the file gets successfully saved to the Filr System. As the existing JAVA based applet technology (applets are no longer supported by Browsers) are not supported, the native applications will be launched with the help of office Uri schemes.

There are some steps to be followed for Edit with Application to work with office applications like MS word/PowerPoint/Excel. This is only applicable for Microsoft Office 2016/2019 and office 365.

Settings to be done on MS-Office application
