I've installed 24.2.  So far so good.  I am getting "CE" branding on everything, I'm not sure why as I'm running on-premises not Cloud Edition.  I know from last month's groupwise update webinar that Opentext is pushing "Cloud" everything, maybe this branding is turned on by default now?

 davemrm You are correct that "CE" stands for "Cloud Edition".  While GroupWise is primarily off-cloud software, company wide at OpenText, CE is used as branding to indicate a cloud first focus across the company.  All products will be adding "CE" into their version signature.

it just seems slightly discordant as saying something is the "Cloud Edition" implies that there is another edition that is not the cloud edition.  I suppose we could say "CE" means "Cloud Enabled", as GroupWise certainly is. 

However it helps in discussions. If someone tells you the company has to use cloud applications, then reply that you run already GroupWise Cloud Edition. You can access mail and calendar data wherever you are. And it is even more secure because it is your private cloud!

Not really. Since one is not expecting this CE version. The first thing that went through my head ; sh$t did I download the correct version?
Also when downloading you download 24.2 version. Not 24.2 CE version. If they would have done that I would have understood.
