After finalizing the migration of the server-parts of GroupWise over the weekend I tried to upgrade a GroupWise 8-Client to 24.2 on our terminal-server yesterday.
While the client-upgrade-process seemed to run smoothly and the new client comes up fine with showing the mailbox, the moment you try to open an e-mail the whole client crashes.
I tried everything possible with uninstall old - install new, just install new over existing client, whatever came to mind. No chance.
As the users wanted to work on Monday I opened a case with support and was told, that the client is not supposed to run on Microsoft-Windows-Server, only on Windows-Desktop-Variants.
I am still awaiting an answer from support whether this is their last word.
How are the experiences here? Has anybody gotten the GroupWise-Client to run on terminal-server?
