DSApp 249. Looking at TID 7013456 I cannot find the option to clean up attachments. I have one user that has 5Gb in attachments. The folder /var/lib/datasync/mobility/attachments has nothing older than june 11. How should I proceed?

What gms Version do you have? Dsapp is obsolete, you must use mcheck under /opt/novell/datasync/tools/mcheck
python3.11 mcheck.pyc
18.3.0 is the version. Upgrade planned later this fall.
OK. runnin it, but cannot find any such option. When I try checking users it complains that it cannot log in. Happens for every user I tried.
OK. It needs the dns name, not IP for LDAP in the mobility LDAP config. Now it does not error out, and after a long wait:

User problem detected. Do you want to correct the problem by re-initializing the user? (yes/no)
I guess I hit yes??
GMS 24.3 Build 11325 is the actual version, welcome in the modern world, dear Anders!
don’t touch a running system, was in history!
have a nice day!
Yes. Upgrade is planned later in the fall. Is there an option to clean up attachments in mcheck or should I reinit the user?
reinit will be a good method by trouble, since time it is better to delete the user only in gms and resync
Likely your best bet to just say yes.

And that will get rid of the offending attachments. There is no dedicated way as it was in dsapp?
You are at that dreaded gap, where dsapp stopped working, but not much of its value was in mcheck yet. So once you've upgraded, I believe it is there. Still a few things missing in mcheck, but fewer each version bump. Hopefully full auto cert renewal gets in there soon.

Or just put everything behind an SSL proxy and run Acme :)
