Like the way we add Profile photo for the Outlook or gmail web services

This option has been available since GW 2014

It is a part of Directory association, that the administrator needs to turn on under GW Admin System

And then the photo gets added to the directory in question  (eDirectory or that other supported one).  It is all up to how your organization handles getting those images into the directory, as there are several options at that level (admin/HR managed through end user free for all).

Like Andy said this can be done as part of the association but only the windows client can allow users to add there own picture ( when set/allowed in gwadmin under client options), if this is a request for the GW web to do the same you can add this as idea on the ideas page to get voted for
