Forgotten Password

I'm trying to open a really old GroupWise archive from around 2009.  The GroupWise system has long be retired., but is there any way of getting through to the archive without the password?

The archive needs to be connected to a "live" account, if I recall, even if just a local cached/remote instance.  I have never extracted such an archive on its own.

Creating such an instance is certainly doable, just have to get it to match the FID of the archive.

Forensic analysis tools may be able to extract it, but best by someone who does that for a living, or so they have claimed.

I have yet to see a method to crack the password.

How valuable is the data in there?

It’s fairly valuable. I’m having a job description dispute and hoping I can find an email in there that can help solve some misunderstandings.

Is there a place where I can get Groupwise 8?  I’m pretty sure I have a version of Netware it should run on. Or would the latest version of Groupwise be able to open a GW8 archive?
