Monitor reports PO is unknown every 10 minutes

I've upgraded to GW14.0.2 and since the upgrade GWMonitor reports one PO status as unknown every 10 minutes, 5 minutes later it reports ok.

The Admin console doesn't show any state change at all and users are connected fine, so it just seems to be the monitor.

I can access the PO via it's web console without any problems.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on troubleshooting this.

    Hi Steve,

    I was hoping that you would say "remote" and that would point to a network issue ;)

    With the Post Office going into an Unknown state it means that the agent is not responding to Poll requests. I'm not too sure why Polling would lose communications on a local network segment. Have you done any customizations to the Poll interval or anything like that?

    Hi Laura,

    Nope, this is an out-of-the-box install of the monitor. Nothing has been customised.

    I've turned GWMonitor off for now to stop it nagging me!

    Any other ideas?

    Hi Steve,

    Somewhere along the line packets are being dropped :( The trick is to figure out where.

    Below, in the thread, Andy has posted some good troubleshooting tips. I would suggest that you start there, the continious ping is a good place to start :)
