SMG September 2022 upgrade: Product registration fails.

After running /opt/novell/product_upgrade/prepare.sh script my appliance restarts.

I accept the license agreement.

I attempt to register the product but get this error:

com.novell.admin.common.server.rpc.beans.RpcException:
Error: /usr/bin/suse_register -E failed with a return code of 2

I obtained the product registration key here:

    Kevin, I ran into the same issue using my license. However I have access to several other license - fortunately another license has been accepted.

    I attempt to register the product but get this error:

    Continuing on...

    I exited the Product Upgrade and went back to the Online Update. I clicked on "Register" and saw that the registration was valid until the end of the year.

    I deregistered the appliance then re-registered it and immediately saw all the SLES 15 updates.

    I returned to the Product Upgrade where I had to accept the license and register the product (again). This time it completed successfully and I was presented with the Online Update screen.

    I am updating customer by customer. In most cases I had to rehost SMG license to get a valid one.
