Not everyone receives notifications when a new idea is created and Ideas are often difficult to locate. Furthermore, posts in the Discussions forum are much more visible... for a short period of time.
While the discussion forums often highlight product deficiencies, Product Managers rely more on the Idea vote count when making decisions regarding product improvements.
Have a look at this and the other Ideas that have been created. Please add your vote if you feel an Idea has merit.
Enhance Email Address exceptions: to include a whole domain; to reject invalid addresses.
