It seems that these days exceptions are a fact of life. Whether a sender's IP address has been (incorrectly?) blacklisted or invoices are incorrectly being flagged as spam, exceptions are often needed to allow valid email to get through. It doesn't take long, however, before there are dozens or hundreds of exceptions and nobody remembers why they were created.

I would like to see, at the very least, the ability to insert a delimiter after the exception (IP address, email address, etc) so I can include comments to show when the exception was created, who requested it, and why. While documentation is always good, should a specific exception allow malicious messages through it would be nice to know who authorized it.
