Create a user in the normal way with Username, First Name and Last Name to have a normal User ID email address in GroupWise system that will be used to sign in GW client / GW Web or mobility. Then if you would like to send emails to that user using Lastname@internet_Domain or Firstname@internet_domain, browse to and click the name of a User, and then click Internet Addressing. In the Preferred Email ID section, click Override, and then specify the unique email address for the user with Firstname@internet_domain or Lastname@internet_domain, Click Save, and then click Close. 

Note: This created Preferred Email ID can't be used to sign in GW Client/ GW Web or Mobility as it is not part of Allowed Address Formats, but emails sent to it will be received in inbox signing in using one of the Allowed Address Formats. The other thing to take into consideration while creating it, is to make sure that there are not two users with the same lastname or firstname who would like to use it as preferred email ID as then the email address will not be unique. So, it can't be the same for two users... this will report an error in gwadmin.
