The GroupWise Web users cannot login, they get the error "An attempt was made to connect to an old Post Office”.

Environment

SLES15 SP5
GroupWise 24.2
GroupWise Web 24.2
 

Situation

The GroupWise Web users cannot login, they get the error "An attempt was made to connect to an old Post Office”, after an upgrade from GW18.x to GW24.2.
 

Cause

An older version GroupWise soap POA process was running that was not known to the customer, it was not needed and was shutdown.
