Knowledge Document: GW web shows html code in the message body

When reading an email in GW web there is HTML code like <br> <div> showing in the message body, this does not show when reading the same mail in the windows client.

Environment

GroupWise 24.2

Situation

Opening certain email in GW web from internal or external the message body is showing html codes like <br> <span> <div> and/or other html code.

When opening the same email from the GW client this does not show the code.

Find resolution on support portal

Working with GroupWise sincw the time ist was known as as Word Perfect Office

Same Problem here, if I open the mail in WebAccess it is shown correct.

Do not think it is a GWEB Problem, as it is relativ new, 2 or 3 weeks now. I do a SLES update every weekend and I feel it is since one of the last SLES updates.

Did not think much about when I realized it the first time, but now I have this problem with mails from senders show correct over years.
