Knowledge Document: Parallel execution of TAR jobs is not working in GWDR

When multiple profiles are active who use TAPE-Backups to create TAR-Archives after successfully archiving, running parallel tape-backups lead to stopped regular Backups. We identified the issue via OCTCR52B770174.

Environment
- GWDR 18.1
- Linux based environment.

Situation
When multiple GWDR profiles are active on a single host, parallel creation of TAPE backups after the successfull local backup, can lead to a stop-condition which does not let other profile-jobs finish.

Cause
At the Issue is under investigation development. .

Resolution

This has been reported to development however there is no ETA for a resolution at this time.
