Hi,
I have noticed, but never got irritated enough to do anything about it, that after a computer is re-imaged, users get multiple iPrint Client authentication pop-ups. It seems to occur before the ZENworks printer policies have actually pushed out the printers. The iPrint client is installed as part of the image, so it is present.
Users have logged in to the computer using the OES client and authenticated to eDirectory.
Once the printers install, everything works normally, with no authentication pop-ups, but users are annoyed by the first bit.
It doesn't seem to matter if they enter their credentials in the box, or just close it (with or without a snarl), they still get multiple pop-ups.
I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if there is any fix.
We are running the iPrint Appliance 4.2, and have a mix of secure and non-secure printers, but mainly secure. The computers are all running Windows 10. eDirectory is on OES 2018 SP3.
Kind regards,
Robert
