Printer profile creation method?

Running iPrint Appliance 4.2.8.  iPrint Client v06.23.20 on Win10 Pro 21H2.  Trying to create a printer profile.  It has been a few years since I last needed to do this.  Using Chrome to access iManager on my appliance, but it states that this process is only supported on IE 5.5 and above.  Not finding instructions in the docs, but I heard on one of the OES monthly update webinars that there was a solution in place for this.  Anyone have an idea where instructions are located?

I have no clue where the docs for this are, but I just stumbled across the solution.  Right-click the iPrint client in the system tray > manage and login.  Nice!

It appears that the Open Enterprise Server docs have been updated - just not the iPrint docs.

So I ran through the whole procedure but even after creating a profile, it does not show up to apply to the printer.  In iManager, I can select Printer Driver Profile and see it listed if I want to delete it.  But if I select the printer and assign the driver and profile, only the driver is available.  No profiles are available.  Anyone run into this before and have a solution?

    Hi Ken

i saw this issue because chrome was blocking the popups in the page. After allowing pops up on the page, profiles were listed properly. Not sure why Chrome will block the listing of the profiles if pop up are blocked as there were no pop ups. :-)

Thanks!  That was it!  I enabled pop-ups in Chrome and the profile was listed.

I had been going to the search box, entering IEXPLORER, and run as admin. That stopped working, not sure if was my desktop guys or MS that did it, it now redirects to Edge.

So now that I have to use Edge, I run it as admin, once I get a tab, I right click the tab, select reload tab in IE. From there I can load iManager and everything I need like load drivers and profiles.

If you don't have the reload choice on the tab, then you have to go into the settings and default browser to put in an exception.

And one finally thing, I am using the appliance too and I found that I had to use the IPaddr in the URL, not the DNS name, to get iManager to work right.
