Looking for

I am looking for someone who is running Iprint appliance 4 who is as well using AirPrint with it. I have for 2 years tried to get airprint

to work with it. I have papercut mobility which seems to work very well for it but trying to get to a managed solution. Even the logs

are pretty useless to figure this out.

Here is additional info.

Licensed as enterprise so AirPrint is supported.

Have tried with its own cert or using a global-sign wildcard cert. Neither help and don't really think that is the issue.

The interesting part is it always wants to use a driver on the mac instead of just appearing as AirPrint.

Same issue for iOS devices. Can see the printer and print to it but nothing happens.

Just looking for someone with success with iprint appliance using AirPrint to try and figure it out.

So far as i know, airprint works fine with appliance 4.x.  You said:

Is this using airprint or using the iprint app for ios?

are you print from outside or from inside your firewall.?
is the job hitting the appliance or not.? Do you see in  /var/opt/novell/iprintmobile/jobs/ ?
if using iprint app for ios, what does the log file shows?

    iprint_mobile0.log may show more information.

Most common issue with airprint is the network configuration. Appliance and access point device where mobile devices connect need to be on the same network as bonjour is not forwarded thru switches or routers as it is multicast traffic.
Also physical printer needs to have ipp and airprint enable

of course, open a case with Micro Focus support will be faster.
