Operating System on Iprint Appliance 4.2

On wich OS is iprint 4.2 based?

the file /etc/os-release say sles12 sp3, but vmware vsphere will not recognize correctly the os and say to correct this (sles 12 64 bit)

Who know this or can helpß

The iPrint Appliance is packaged as an OVF. I have seen the same issue in my lab and set the Guest OS and OS Version to Linux, Other Linux (64-bit) just to get rid of the warning. I'll discuss this with…

it is sles 12 sp3.

Yes, I known! But my question is why VMware vsphere 7.03g don’t recognize this and say that is an other os! For all other mf sles- or oes-machines the recognized os is correct, only not on iPrint appliance!

Is this iPrint packaged as an OVA/OVF? If so, then it should tell vSphere correctly and this sounds like a bug in that OVA/OVF packaging

if delivered else wise, how is it packaged?
