An observation i made when doing batch deletes etc: in a GUi interface it is more operable to have the top of the screen in place so after the selections have been made and you have to select the option you need it's readily available at the top of the screen.
The example is seen most in the excel spreadsheet when you have a pane(s) frozen. It makes for easier navigation and process. Example below highlighted sections are suggested and shows the before and after scrolling:
