If you haven’t already noticed, we are happy to announce the availability of iPrint Appliance 5.0 release.

iPrint Appliance is your one solution for all printing needs. It provides simple printing options for your desktop and mobile users, from anywhere to any of your network attached printers, while keeping IT admin in control.

Here is a quick overview of the available features:

1. WalkUp Printing: Print and release (e.g., using identity card) to any printer and save on printing cost.
2. Client-less Printing: Allow your guest users to print using browser without installing any driver or client.
3. Secure printing with users from any eDirectory, Active Directory, or Azure Active Directory source.
4. Print from any device: With support for any Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, or Chromebook, all your endpoints are covered.
5. Accounting: Basic auditing included with iPrint for usage overview and third-party solutions like PaperCut integration provides additional accounting control

Now back to 5.0; In this release,

1. We are sprinting ahead with added stability, security, and supportability through SLES 15 SP4 base for appliance
2. Introducing all new browser independent driver and profile management tool
3. Enhanced print fidelity with advancements in the underlying libraries

With these changes, we believe iPrint Appliance 5.0 is the right solution for deploying a secure and stable print platform for your hybrid users.

Also, the iPrint Client for Windows and macOS (including the new driver and profile management) are available on Micro Focus AppDelivery Marketplace.
