Have your appliance logs watched and acted on

If you happen to have an abending appliance or server from time to time you may have a look at our systemd service to watch server logs for a specific pattern and act on it.

It was created to watch an Novell/Micro Focus/OpenText iPrint 5 appliance that had problems with its OrientDatabase resulting total service loss until rebooted. It was used to recognize this state, generate diagnostic files and send them to the supplier support and notify them on their ticketsystem and workaround-repair the appliance by issuing a reboot. It resulted in a full automatic repair and diagnosis without any administrator intervention or user issuing a ticket to our support.
