Knowledge Document: Status of iPrint printer within Windows 'Printer and Scanners' doesn't show Offline

Windows does not update iPrint printer status when the network printer is offline.

Environment

iPrint-Print Manager
iPrint-iPrint Windows Client
 

Situation

The number of print jobs build up within the iPrint printer queue as users submit print jobs to the printer which should show an offline status. The iPrint printer configured on the Windows workstation is not properly updating the status of the network printer.
