Why do you need this package hub?

OES2023 is on base sles15sp4 with all needed components

The reason why is, that i want to test if i can run now gms 18.4 on oes 2023 (because now based on sles 15 sp4)  and the package hub is
the only component which are missing to proceed with the setup of gms.

Of course i can install gms 18.4 on suse sles 15 but i was wondering if its also somehow possible on oes 2023

i know in the history that gms don't run on oes before, only sles15sp4 is documented.

we must ask MF the new situation, but i think that will not be possible in the moment.

OES2023 is very new with the umc console and many customer have reported any problems with umc, iprint, edir. Installing oes2023 as a new server and new edir is not a problem, but upgrade oes2018sp3 to oes2023 in a existing edir will cause problems.

OES2023 is the best server for groupwise with nss volumes and i will install gms on a separate server (sles15sp4)

If I remember correctly GMS had some port conflicts with OES, and therefore not recommended to run on OES.

Funny how works perfectly fine on OES2018. I really am surprised that no support for PackageHub. Have a customer now evaluating dumping OES since they use a lot of web services cluster on OES and now those will no longer be supported. What a shame.
