This template includes policies for all services found on a Windows XP machine with SP2 applied and all optional components installed. Some of these services might be missing on your workstations. This depends on the version of Windows, the service pack level and the set of Windows components that are installed.

For your convenience the minimum Windows version for each service (2000 or XP) is specified in the "Supported on" field, which is only displayed if you're running the GP console on XP or later. However, note that if a given service is installed by Windows 2000 SP4, it will still be displayed as supported on Windows 2000, although it will not be present on Windows 2000 SP3 and earlier.
