"Modules.exe" allows you to query a NetWare server for loaded NLMs. The output can be configured to specify the information you need



Usage:
  • Select the output format


  • Select the target server.

    The list shows only servers that you are connected to. If required, connect by mapping a drive or access a path on that server.

    You will need operator/administrator rights on the server to retrieve the NLM list


Available NLM data includes
NLM ID
NLM Filename
NLM Date
NLM Version
NLM Title
NLM Type
NLM Flags
NLM Parent
NLM Copyright Information


Typical values for NLM Flags are
0x0001 = REENTRANT
0x0002 = MULTIPLE
0x0004 = SYNCHRONIZE
0x0008 = PSEUDOPREEMPTION


Typical values for NLM Types are
0 = NLM_GENERIC
1 = LAN_DRIVER
2 = DSK_DRIVER
3 = NAM_SPACE
4 = NLM_UTILITY
5 = MIRRORED_SERVER_LINK
6 = NLM_OS
7 = NLM_PAGED_HIGH_OS
8 = HOST_ADAPTER_MODULE
9 = CUSTOM_DEVICE_MODULE
10 = NLM_FILE_SYSTEM
11 = NLM_REAL_MODE
12 = GHOST_TYPE
13 = SMP_NORMAL_TYPE
14 = NIOS_TYPE_NLM
15 = CIOS_CAD_TYPE
16 = CIOS_CLS_TYPE
20 through 32 = NICI (Novell International Cryptographic Infrastructure)


The NLM parent indicates the ID of the NLM that caused this NLM to be loaded.



You may save the modules list in TXT/HTML/XLS format by right-clicking on the report.
XLS export is only available, if MS Excel is installed on the PC



To run the application, you must have the NetWare Client32 software installed.
