At BrainShare 2013, Novell announced that Novell Filr is a major focus for the future to  provide file-related services.  Because Filr will eventually replace the following technologies in OES, no   further  enhancements are planned for these technologies:

- Archive and Version Services
- iFolder
- NetStorage
- QuickFinder

Novell iFolder and NetStorage are still regularly used.  Priority issues and critical security issues will be considered for development.

For Archive and Version Services and QuickFinder, we plan to address only  critical security fixes.
